The Fernley Builders Association (FBA) is a non-profit 501(c)(6) organization that was formed in 1997 by a group of general contractors, subcontractors and Fernley development and real estate Industry professionals. FBA provides a united voice when dealing with building industry issues with the City of Fernley and Lyon County, as well as other jurisdictions within northern Nevada.

We are proud that it is common that the Mayor of Fernley, City Council members and other City staff regularly attend our Builders Breakfasts, which are held the 1st Wednesday of each month at the Wigwam at 7:30 a.m.

FBA has raised thousands of dollars for community charities and sponsored annual scholarships at Fernley High School. In 2006, FBA built a home based upon the winning design submitted by one of the students. Due to generous support from builders and suppliers, FBA was able to grant $45,000 to the High School to update their computer system upon the sale of that home.
